What is Creatine

Achieving goals of being in the best shape of your life don't happen when you simply do nothing every day. There is a requirement, and it's not so fun for most people to get off the couch and have a little physical activity for an hour each day. It's a chore, and we want to see results quickly, and we want to have the energy we need in the gym. Which begs the question, What is Creatine?

Creatine in it's simplest definition is a supplement that gives our bodies that little something extra when we're lifting weights. What you normally do in a gym without creatine could be enhanced by another 1 to 2 reps with creatine. "Well that's really not significant enough for me to spend money on creatine if I'm only getting 1 or 2 more reps out, is it?"

YES! It is very significant. Looking at this from a mathematics point of view, let's say you could lift 150 lbs. on a free weight bench press 8 times. Theoretically, if you do 3 sets of this you will have done 24 full reps of 150 lbs. When we put creatine into the picture, we are now doing 9 or 10 reps of the same weight in 3 sets. Giving us 27 to 30 reps of 150 lbs. total.

Not only did you pump out more reps to get the best tear in the muscle fibers for best possible growth, you still have tons of energy to do the next workout on your list. That's what creatine does, it gives you a spike in energy to provide you with the best possible workout you can get without the loss of motivation or energy the entire time you are in the gym.

Combined with a Whey Protein you will be able to achieve phenomenal results. Keep in mind that there are plenty of other factors that go into achieving results that are not limited to these two things, but these are definitely key factors.

Take a look at the Whey Protein pages if you would like to find out more about Protein and some of the other key components.
Let's drive a little bit deeper into the previous question, What is Creatine? Creatine is found in our bodies just like proteins and say water. But just like proteins, we take more when we're physically active. Creatine synthesizes in the pancreas, liver, and the kidneys. Note, that abusing creatine can and will help to the overall failure of your liver, so follow the instructions.
The creatine that we take in a drink form is practically the same as what we have in our bodies, we're just increasing it, or concentrating doses to boost or spike our energy. There are some creatines that are huge in the bodybuilding world and have fantastic reviews, but they can be very dangerous if used improperly.

One example of this is Nano Vapor, a product that I used a few years ago. Instructions said that you needed to take this product, then take a day off. The continuous consumption of this product would destroy your liver.

Muscle Pharm Assault

The first choice for lifters is Muscle Pharm Assault for their creatine. This guy here has rised above the rest providing the best and safest results for the mass majority of weight lifters. A person will notice an almost immediate reaction when taking this product, and start to see some pretty phenomenol results in size and strength within a few weeks. The Price per serving is $1.09 for 32 servings and $1.37 for 8 servings.

Cellucor C4 Extreme

A very close second place goes to Cellucor C4 Extreme. A real benefit here with this brand is that you can actually get 3 for the price of 2. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing because you can get a smaller container that costs less and more of them, saving you money in the end. The price per serving of this beast is $1.40 for 5 servings, $1.00 for 30 servings, and $.70 for 60 servings. All of these are Buy 2 Get 1 Free.

BPI Sports 1.M.R.

Taking third place on the the top seller charts is BPI Sports 1.M.R. Creatine powder. With the one more rep mentality of this product your pretty much gaurunteed that little something extra when heading into the gym to destroy your body in the best possible way. The price per serving is $1.00 for 80 grams and $1.07 for 224 grams.

Whatever your choice may be, it is always safe to say that with these top three choices you can see the results that your hoping for. Some may work better than others, but there is no doubt, getting that little something extra, is going to give you more gains than the other guy/gal who isn't taking anything. I almost promise you, that he/she will ask what your doing differently so he/she can do it too.

I wish you the best of luck in reaching your better lifestyle goals.
